A bit of fun. Sometimes good for the soul. Shows what sort of school boy you were.

Yes I thought the same Gudrun.

There are those who say that every portrait is to a greater or lesser extent a self-portrait: which might explain the rather rabbit-y teeth in Rolf Harris's portrait of the Queen. In this case, I can only say, Gudrun, and indeed Sylvia, that if you hear a tapping on your window pane at dead of night - bearing in mind it's a full moon - you would be well advised to ignore it, and festoon your apartments with garlic and (should you be able to find any) wolf-bane.

Like it a lot - the drawing that is. Not too keen on Dracula !

A great character, you have captured it all!

I do see a likeness to you in this portrait - spooky, eh? However, I think that we all know our own faces so well that it is inevitable that a bit of it might creep into any portraits we do. It is a great character drawing, very scary eyes (which I know you don't have at all).

Somehow this made me smile, and I'm not a fan of Dracula's! I love the exaggerated features and the clean lines. Happy New Year, Robert!

Pen again, with a bit of soft charcoal - this is the Dracula of the book, not the version usually appearing in the films. It's scribble, don't take it seriously ... but again, if I post it here I can forget all about it and move on to something a bit more grown up!
