Very rugged and windy. Definitely a spot to blow the cobwebs away. A lovely scene Robert :)

Love the contrast of textures between the rough grass in the foreground and the rolling downland in the distance.

This may need another glaze or two in the foreground, there are bits of it "staring" at me - I'm also beginning to feel the need for Michael Harding's oil paint, with its superior blending qualities. Anyway - no lead white employed in this one, just Titanium and Zinc; both behaved well, but I'll use lead white next time.... 30 cm by 40cm, after a photograph (of an area I know well) by Bob Blake.
