Like this a lot Robert, has a lovely quality to it

I like your use of colour in this lovely landscape Robert.

I like this. Some gorgeous blues in there.

Wonderful landscape Robert. I tend to use Warm White more often than Titanium. Your painting has an overall softness to the values which is very pleasing.

Lovely scenery captured here Robert,

The photo is a bit woolly… nonetheless I like the composition, standard diagonal division which works well. That sea is very blue for the English Channel, or wherever, but it’s an overall pleasant painting with strong bold strokes of colour!

Lovely blues.

The format works well Robert. Don’t know whether the group of beings are birds or people but the painting works well. Tend to agree with Alan about the blues. I make the same mistake and should know better as I live right next to the North Sea.

You just can't beat a beautiful landscape in oils.

You're right about the blue, but a) I like blue!, and b) this is the Isle of Wight - the Med has nothing on us, nothing I tell you. And yes, the photo is woolly - all the others were worse, though. Thanks for all comments! I might do this one again... not over the top of it, but another painting: which means buying more canvases of these proportions

Er, Carole - those are posts - it took me an embarrassingly long time to work out what you could have meant by birds or figures.... Perhaps I should take a better photo....

Panoramic oil, 20" X 8". Meant as a companion piece to a Winter coastal scene I posted a while ago, photo captured despite Microsoft's best efforts. Ultramarine, yellow ochre, raw sienna, burnt sienna, viridian, cadmium yellow: I think the white was Flake White NT on this occasion.
