Robert you live in a very interesting place! I love these views and coastal pathways. Your paintings always do them justice, also yes I like the sky colour, very unusual.

Full of an eerie atmosphere due to your expert painting and unusual colours. Very eyecatching.

Robert, I love the wildness about the foreground then you peep through that to the calmness of the sea & sky with that lovely light effect. Mmmmmm!!

Really nice Robert , I love the 'pink light'. Beautiful.

Another beauty and what a view!

Hi Robert I really like this one and it reminds of the landslip at Reeth bay you painted earlier this year. The others above had said it all regarding light etc.You are very lucky to live so near to such a beautiful place.

Lovely, Robert. I particularly like the tangle of vegetation and the glimpse of the sky and water beyond. Also like your brushstokes on the ivy clad tree.

I like the way you have added the paint to the foreground to achieve the tangle of vegetation, and the bare branches, as well as that fantastic colour of the sky, give a real sense of foreboding. Excellent painting, Robert.

This is wonderful, Robert! Love the combination of the pastel sky and the cool and warm greens of the trees. The composition is wonderful too, and the view is to die for!

I like the way you compose your pictures, full of lush detail and making me feel I am out in the fresh air.

Painted this a while ago, then fiddled with it occasionally until now. It was a very strange light that evening: this is from the bottom of the garden where I live, overlooking the slope down to Reeth Bay. 12" by 12", on canvas covered board.
