I agree, red is much easier as darker tones are possible. This one is a beauty Val!

Wow, Val! That's amazing and also you have gone one step further as you have taken a subject which isn't red and then done it completely in that colour (unlike me who took a red rose and painted it red!). Beautiful work and a great choice of subject.
