Beautiful and translucent. I think it is too good to need footprint Val

Gorgeous colours Val, lovely reflections. I rather like those footprints.

Fantastic waves Val! I agree with Dennis that there's no need for the footprints.

I like life of some sort in paintings, so if the beach was extended back to the viwer and more could be made of the imprints, that would be my take on it. However it is fine as it is.

It's superb as it is in my opinion Val, just right.

Your 'new blue pastels' have certainly done the business Val, the colours are superb!

The new pastels are a good investment Val, the colours are really rich. The breaking waves are excellent, I too don't think you need the foot prints.

No footprints Val. They detract from those super crashing waves. Rather worryingly, they're just heading in the one direction!

I've just thought Val.....if you leave out the footprints, what will happen to the title....

Lokks good but doesn't need the footprints so yes take them out - call it 'No Footprints' lol

Thank you for your comments and advice everyone, sorry I've not replied sooner but I managed to get some sort of virus on my computer but thankfully my son sorted it for me and normal service has been resumed :) Marjorie, good thought, I'd have to call it something else, maybe Michael's suggestion LOL

Lovely piece of work Val the footprints are great leave them as is 😊

Beautiful waves Val and I like the footprints!

I think the footprints add interest to the piece, Val. It's a beautifully rendered piece, loads of movement and atmosphere.

I treated myself to some new blue pastels so thought I'd try them out in this. I put the footprints in because it seemed to be lacking in something. Not sure if to erase them or add a few more ??? Any suggestions? Thanks for looking.
