Horses are so hard to paint but you have captured the movement of the horse extremely well.

I like the sense of movement, well captured John

Wonderful John.

Superb sketch you have captured the movement beautifully .

Very good John? Are you left handed? I ask because, being right handed I would draw the horse facing the other way….I find it difficult to paint faces or forms like you’ve done here. I wonder if my theory holds.

Lovely movement in your sketch, John

Love the sense of movement John. The colours are very striking.

Wonderful John… these animals aren’t easy to capture in motion!

Thank you folks for your feedback. Marjorie I have sent you a message.

A really good horse with excellent movement John. Interesting point from Marjorie re being left/right handed, as I’m a leftie and I see this as I would probably draw it. I guess it shouldn’t make a difference but probably does!

Horses are fascinating creatures and you painted this horse in motion well! Lovely form too, showing it's muscular and anatomical posture with hoofs in stance and motion! Well done Graham!

Thank you Angela; your comment is appreciated.
