Lots of texture again John which works well with those autumnal grasses in the foreground. I like the touch of lilac too.

Lovely colour and depth John.

The knife work and directional marks describe the grass and trees so well. I love the highlights within the trees too. They really sculpture them into such convincing shapes.

Wonderful colour and texture John all beautifully depicted with the knife.

Lovely colours and textures, John.

Beautiful, John, lovely variety of textures and rich colours, and that patch of violet is a nice touch.

Vigorous, well painted scene John.

Love the colours and the way you have captured the long grasses with those bold strokes, 😀

And its worked well John. I do love to see knife work, although I rarely tackle it myself - for no particular reason!

Thank you Val, Michael, Diane, Carole, Ellen, Jenny, Stephen, Linda and Alan. Your feedback is very much appreciated.

It's all been said John and I agree with every word.

Really like the textures and colours John.

Great textures John. Easy to imagine being there.

Fabulous colours and textures in this John, really lovely work.

Yes the warm yellow and the cold green and blue makes facinating composition, especially with this tittle touch lilac.

Some very fine textures happening here John, great highlights on the trees too.

John, thank-you very much for your positive comments on three of my recent paintings. They are really appreciated.

p.s. Meant to add great that you have two of your recent knife landscapes in the top line. (Wish we could edit comments here like we can on the Forum, would be so useful.)

Great painting John, wonderful mcolours and textures. Almost missed this one had it not been on the top line.

Knife painting. Size A4 on oil primed paper. I found this scene at our local forest interesting with the warm foreground and cool greens in the background.
