Lots of texture again John which works well with those autumnal grasses in the foreground. I like the touch of lilac too.

The knife work and directional marks describe the grass and trees so well. I love the highlights within the trees too. They really sculpture them into such convincing shapes.

Yes the warm yellow and the cold green and blue makes facinating composition, especially with this tittle touch lilac.
