The Underworld

Very Creative! Beautiful.

Super colours, and cleverly designed.

Very beautiful John and well designed , a little sad in way as it reminds me of all the poor wildlife in Australian bushfires.

Vivid and original, I like it.

Thank you Skylar, Thalia, Paul, Carole and Lewis. So pleased you appreciate the digital medium.

A stunner John, they are like little jewels.

Amazing imagery John, even after reading your explanation I've no idea how you've achieved it, very clever! Perhaps I'm something of a 'misoneist?'

Well, it's brilliant , John. Before I enlarged it I thought " The Empire Strikes Back", then I saw the detail. The colours are beautiful and your ability to put this altogether is amazing. Then I read Carole's comment and I can see that, too.

Thank you Fiona, Russel appreciated.

Thank you Marjorie. I did this piece long before the bush fires. And in retrospect I do not think I would have uploaded it if I had the fires in mind. In this piece the butterflies are kings of there underworld, not victims. I understand there needs to be bush fire to maintain diversity, and some plants cannot start their growth without the fires. However to much fire and it goes the wrong way.

I do like this kind of digital work, John, it’s so imaginative and full of light.

Love how the butterflies are radiating light, they are taking over the underworld!

Digital painting the butterflies taken from snaps in the garden the orange background a piece of curtain. The diagonal bright white was a bic transparent pen I snapped for the fire brand. Put it all together and fantasy.
