I remember visiting this place, I absolutely loved it. This is where the seals hang around the fish shop (in the water I mean) isn't it? Those red sails are very catchy.

Thankyou very much jill and Ibolya. Ibolya , I used to buy fish in the fish shops at Howth Harbour.That was a long time ago but I do remember it being a lovely place.This painting ,however , I painted from a black and white photo in a book with lovely images such as this.The photo is dated 1912.

A watercolour that I painted a number of years ago.Ibought a bargain basement book of black and white photographs containing wonderful pictures from the early twentieth century.Lookin back over some old work I had done about six years ago I came across this little watercolour and decided to add it to my gallery.
