This is a plein air sketch which I painted this morning at a place called Marlfield.My outdoor equipment consists of a set of half pan watercolours,a few synthetic brushes and a large spiralbound watercolour pad as I don't like sketching on small sheets of paper.There is a very old church at this location which is a popular subject for local artists but I chose to paint this scene as my time was limited.It is a view seen looking over a stone wall in the church cemetery.
