Nosey Turtle basking in the sun

I think the water effects in this one are even better than the one before, especially the section around the turtle's head. Lovely underwater effect on the front limb furthest away from us and beautifully depicted shell. A charming painting.

Yes I agree with Thea, the water looks clear and swirly around his head, great effect. I like the markings on the turtle too.
