Pomegranate exercise

Lovely Pomegranate in cp's Peter, my favourite fruit as well, the label stuck onto it is ridiculously realistic ! And the fruit itself is pretty damn good as well!

Another lovely piece, Peter. The transitions in the hues are impressive, especially for colored pencils.

You can almost pick that label off that pomegranate. If they weren't so expensive I would eat a lot more of them. Lovely rendition, Peter...munch, munch.

Another great piece , My favourite is the sea side one.

Great study of this fruit with all it's imperfections, showing that things do not have to be perfect to be beautiful.

Again thank you for all your lovely comments, this study was the hardest of all the compositions. The biggest problem with this type of subject is the lighting and how it changes during the day. The reflection move, also as the fruit ripens the colours form subtle differences. No comment regarding the shadow on this one, hopefully I got this one right. Thanks again every one.
