you are fabulous at detail, i think you can paint anything and make it look like a photograph :-)

Fantastic, simply fantastic

Such a great painting that I had to stop cooking my dinner to log in and comment - and I'm very attached to my food.... I thought this was an oil at first, such is the depth of colour achieved. Hard to see how it could be bettered.

Brilliant. The warm glow is great. Love the light coming in the upper windows, the arches and depth, the stained glass, and the ceilings. Well, I guess that's everything. It's all great.

Super work and super Gallery Pete, don't know how I've missed it!

The lighting on the upper walls and ceiling are absolutely brilliant, great painting.

Good art is good if it's detailed or loose, this is very good indeed!

Love all your paintings Peter, but this one, well it's hard to believe it has been painted and in watercolour.

you have a wonderful gallery, and lots of patients

Peter I have taken a look at you portfolio, your work is just stunning depth, warmth, atmosphere and detail thanks for sharing.

Peter, This is very well executed. Excellent work.

Peter - firstly, this is wonderful - so atmospheric and beautifully detailed. Love the muted colours. Secondly, thankyou for your great comment. I'll be really interested to see your forays into wierdness !

Joined a small art group with the local U3A, the 1st location was in the local church, never tried internal compositions before. The colours from the light were difficult. At first it was a stark white, quite harsh, in the end I softened it with a warm glow, think it worked. Archer hot pressed - 34 x 26 (tried to be looser, but got drawn into the detail, maybe next time)
