This was a much smaller painting to play with today and done just for a bit of fun. Painted on Arches Watercolour Paper HP, 140lb I built the painting up from very light washes, gradually building these up just using the same mixes for each layer, until eventually we have the dark colours. So really it's all about glazing for the wash layers. I then used my 00 size brush to add all the finer details! Thanks for looking, Paul :-)
