It is a lovely medium Pat, and I enjoy using them but I also like getting messy with the oils. A simple and direct work, excellent.

Watercolour. This was done quickly on a recent holiday abroad when I was short of inspiration - it's based on a painting in The Artist, though modified in colours and content - it's typical of fields around East Yorkshire. I struggle with watercolours but I enjoyed taking it up again as it's cleaner to use and less messy than oils!
