Harbour entrance Bridlington
Oil on small canvas - the last of the 3 paintings of East Yorkshire. The groynes are a regular feature of sea defences on Brid 's beaches. I was going to add people or a distant boat, but maybe the canvas size was a bit too small to cope. The distant harbour walls break the horizon though I think the scene composition lacks impact. However, I like doing these little studies - only take about an hour.
