Oil painting on 51cm square canvas. This was painted en plein air under the Art in the Garden scheme - an arrangement between East Riding Artists and the National Gardens Scheme. I painted it over 2 half days last month - Saturday was freezing cold, on Sunday the sun came out and there were many visitors, so much talking and less painting. I really enjoy painting in front of the subject and paint better with an easel.
