Love the light which is concentrated on that one single flower in the centre, and the others in all shades of shadow colours but very definitely still white. Very clever Pat.

Thank you Fiona, Lesley, Glennis, Julie, Linda, Sarah, Peter - I am very encouraged by your comments, so much so that I've just started painting the hostas in the garden! The light's proving a bit difficult today, dull and going to rain I think.
