I really like venetian paintings and this one is such a lovely one. The reflections in the water are just great. I'm sure your daughter will be over the moon with such a lovely painting. When you say wet in wet with oils is it like in watercolour ?(I don't think so).

Glad I never missed this from yesterday. Very well painted as always Jeannette. You are so good at the wet in wet tecnique and the colours are lovely, especially the little touches of red (crimson). To me they bring the picture to life. Happy painting, Val
