Impression of Degas - Two dancers entering stage

You have been very busy! Lovely earth colours in the background against the white frocks looks really nice. Thanks for your comments, no I'm from the island of Malta and our temperature is up to 32 C (mind you it can reach much higher in summer).

You must have posted this after I logged off the other day. Fantastic colours, maybe I should study Degas as I never quite know what to do with my backgrounds! I'm sure this will look stunning on your wall with the other two. Very well done, Val.

One more beautiful Degas painting of yours! I love the texture and colors. Thank you for your comment on my semi-abstract Jeannette. I do use fixative over the pastel drawing, only at the end and very lightly. Still wondering about it. I thought it would be easy...not at all.
