Monet's Veranda

Monet's Veranda

Hi Jeannette. Firstly, thanks for your comments on my White Cat painting. Your Monet paintings are so good, would love to visit his house one day. Lv Belinda

I was really drawn to this - can't tell you why... maybe the colours or the dreamlike quality... nice, well done.

You have a magic touch Jeannete...Another brilliant picture...Steve.

What another stunning painting!!tried taking my glasses off to paint but cant see a thing!!!

Monet must have been around when you visited as you've mastered this picture wonderfully. The little touches of light that have filtered through .......... it's beautiful.

The dreamlike quality is, as Ade says, what does it with this painting; you half expect to see the old chap come out of the house and take a turn on the veranda.

Love the light captured in this work, and as always your use of colour is superb

Hi Jeanette, you have brought Monet home to us, so beautiful with lovely colour. Like that turquoise very much. Thank you for your comment on Butterflies, much appreciated. I'd had the iridescent medium so long it had settled into a solid lump, had to stir with a stick! Best wishes for christmas,,,,,,,Carole.

this is a stunner Jeannette. The lighting and the atmosphere you have conveyed is evocative and powerful.. Well done again Jeannette.

You have done it again. Monet would be envious of you and probably worried too... LOL Great painting Jeannette. I love the composition, light and colours.

this is beautiful Jeanette. Love the composition, the colours and the style.

YOu've done it again. You've really captured something special with these.

It's not usually my thing, but I like this very much.

Agree with all the above comments, truly magnificent painting, it must of been so wonderful to walk around his house and garden. The colours are so beautiful and the greens compliment each other nicely. Love it very much.

I think the other comments say it all Jeannette, you really do capture Monet so very, very well. This certainly ranks with the best, very well painted.

The hydrangea Makes this painting.....very well done

Hang on Studio Wall

The Hydrangea struck me when I stepped onto the Verandah after browsing Monet's House. A quick reference photo was taken. Oil on canvas board 20 x 16"
