Excellent drawing Denise 👌

Gollygosh! That's intricate, well done!

Beautiful 😍

A superb landscape Denise the detailing is beautifully done.

This is superb Denise. The water wheel is great.

Nice job here Denise… much patience needed for this complex subject. If you want more depth try the Wolff’s carbon pencils that I use. You don’t need a full range, B and 2B is adequate, but they must be kept sharp to achieve that crispness of line.

Interesting scene, Denise, nicely drawn.

Great drawing skills Denise.

It's a lovely sketch Denise and a good exercise which I keep meaning to do myself. I love the charcoal drawings David Hockney did for his Arrival of Spring series. You can see sunlight in them even though they are black and white!

Well done Denise! I must have a go some time.

Your comments are very much appreciated, thanks, Stephen, Marjorie, Faye, Paul, Christine, Alan, Jenny, Chris, Sarah and Diane. Thanks Alan, I will get some and try them out.

Well done Denise, lots of different textures and tones.

Very good and lots of tricky angles and perspectives

A lovely rural scene you have tackled very successfully. Wonderful details and a very interesting painting.

Thanks very much Linda, Heather and Carole.

Great stuff… you’ll love carbon pencils Denise - as I’ve said, you need to keep them sharp to get crisp lines!

A super drawing, Denise. Well done!

Fabulous drawing Denise, such a difficult scene to attempt but you've done a great job.

I'm practising landscapes in graphite or charcoal at the moment. This is done in graphite and took about 8 hours. I'm trying to practice my trees and get more of a grasp of depth within a landscape at the moment. I found a free photo, so I used that as I thought it had some depth to it.
