Nice painting. If I was uber critical I'd say the yellow is wrong, too acidic / blue, (but this is probably my monitor / artefact of photography) and Chipmunk is "u" not "o". But your painting of the Tiggy is really nice, you got a good feeling of space up there (which Ive done many times). Thanks for sharing. D

Hi thank you for you comment. To be fair It is the photo as the actual painting has less of blue tinge to it, I am currently playing about with settings to get more of an accurate photograph. Apologies for the spelling mistake on 'Chipmunk' I will amend this oversight. Kind regards.

The Tigermoth was a popular training aircraft used by the Royal Air Force and was the predecessor to the Chipmunk. I saw this particular aircraft at a recent visit to the Imperial War Museum Duxford. The aircraft was coming in to land and I was very fortunate to get a picture that I could use to make a painting. I have always liked the striking yellow colour scheme and is something different from what I have painted before.
