I can totally visualise your village now! Great sunny feel to the front of the cottages. Excellent shadows. Like the way you have dealt with the stone work. Windows are varied and hence have interest. Another great painting!

Thank you very much Thea. Once I'd got these two posted I saw faults. I've toned down that red door and straightened the brown one and faded out the black in the far door. Odd what you see once they are online. These are most definitely the last unless I get any commissions. Not altogether happy with either; too much detail that I'm trying so hard to get rid of. the other is probably worse.

Very nice. Painstaking work of charming cottages. My stumbling block as it happens; I don't get on with buildings, except in their simplest form! Regards John
