I sketch painted this during summer - only not quite so well! I agree, it's a lovely place and I often sit there and sketch in spring and summer. One of leicesters best kept secrets. I have posted a couple of photos on the "royaly free" page on POL. I'll probably bump into you one day. You've done a nice job of this.

Interesting style here Michael, quite a bit of detail on the building but very minimal work on the foliage. i think I would have put more work into the foliage but probably over done it!

I absolutely love this one, Michael! There's so much atmosphere, great light, woinderful color and composition. It's simply gorgeous!

These gardens are free to walk around and, during the dummer months, they hold large sculpture exhibitions which are always of the highest standard - whats more, no entry charge! Can't recall the name of this building which is in the grounds but the colours in the foliage (plus artistic licence) appealed to me
