It certainly does Michael, it's lovely!, had to look up the word though! How did you go about painting this? The abstract white branches look great against the colours you've used. I bet t looks fabulous in its silver frame.

Glad you like it Christine - you might wish to take alook at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eerBW37SLxM

Looks great, a very interesting technique. It looks to me like a stylized heart.

A very eye-catching design, Michael. I haven't heard of this form of painting either but it makes a lovely image.

Very interesting effect, Michael. I remember someone on the site mentioning this. I really like the way the lines converge and convey movement.

It looks good to me. I love it :)

Thanks so much for the link Michael, isn't it amazing? I'm off to find two sheets of glass!

An interesting technique indeed Michael, excellent result and there are endless possibilities.

That's great Michael. Never heard of that style of painting so off to watch the video.

Thanks all - I do hope some of you give it a go even if just for fun and I look forward to some of your results.

Looks like a seaweed Michael drifting in colours.

I saw Christine's work first and rushed to give it a go. Yours is lovely and so neat, I probably didn't use enough water or something. Must do some more tomorrow. Thanks for sharing!

Found it!! I saw Satu's work first and have been looking for the link. This is great Michael, so effective and looks like there are no limits to it's use. I've done something similar with one sheet of glass. Thanks for the link.

It reminds me of ice crystals Michael.

Just seen the other results of this genre, working backwards as usual, then I find the first and it does look ' the bees knees' off to find more about it - thank you!

I'm sorry but I can't recall who it was (on this site) who first drew my attention to this form of painting. Anyway thought I'd try out a quick trial piece without any attempt to produce a finished work - just to see how it works and this came out of the process. I put it in a mount and a frame (silver square profile) and it looks the bees knees (if you'll excuse the expression). Hope others agree.
