Obviously, this is your 'blue period' Michael! Quite a change from your usual style, but it's good to try something different now and again.

Quite a painting Michael and very brave to use just blues with a hint of mauve or perhaps red. For the frame I think that glass with a white mount would look good. Depends of the size of course. As for getting paint everywhere that comes naturally with acrylics and oils! My best achievement is the ceiling.

A superb tranquil work Michael, it's so relaxing. A large white mount and glazed is a must for me, (unless it's a six footer!)

Been out all day and just returned and so elated that you all took the time to comment - it really is so encouraging. I have a few ideas up my sleeve for further acrylics in this vein but it's a matter of time - got to do a few watercolours but after that...!

Lovely piece Michael , for me it's , a four and a half inch off white double mount , with an off white flat frame ...... all mine are framed this way and customers always remark about the framing as it really enhances the work

Thanks Dermot - I do usually mount in this way although with single mount and not quite so wide - I guess I am still in watercolour mode where I do most of my sales - will do as you suggest and use a double mount extra wide for this one
