Thanks all - the event was opened by the Mayor of Gnomesville: his Rt Hon the Moulder Of Shutton and he was accompanied by his Rt Hon the Thumble of Runder. Now there's a toffee for anyone who can work out where these titles come from.

At last they held the party for the 100th cartoon. A surprise guest from Rome was Splinterin Bumus who played the piano. You may remember Arsinta Gear - well she married Splinterin and they have just had a little gnomlet but regrettably Arsinta had to stay in Rome as he is a bit too young to travel as yet. Madge played the drums and Mandy had a great time dancing with Barrington whilst Athelstan drove them all mad playing the trumpet so much so that the snail had a few too many trying to ignore him. As for Cedric - well I can see wedding bells.
