Another super village view Michael, the well painted car does add interest

Lovely painting again Michael and the addition of the car works very well. Can't you add a figure or two now? Like somebody sitting in front of the green door? Or is it impossible at this stage?

Excellent work, Michael! It's a lovely scene, with just the right amount of detail and the lovely foliage adding a very lively feel to the piece, so the lack of figures does not really compromise the effectiveness of the piece.

Thanks all - doubt if I will add figures as I like to position them where they will be most effective as part of the composition and placing afterwards never seems to work as well.

I like how the eye is drawn into this scene Michael. The car still only has three wheels on it though ;)

I agree with your own comment about where to put the figures in afterwards. If they are not calculated in it in the first place, it may look artificial (in my humble opinion). :) Mia
