Excellent painting Mia , I agree with the not overpaint the rocks as it would have been to much , less is ore as they say ..

The star of the show here has got to be those wonderful buildings, so the right decision was to not take away the focus on them with highly detailed and overworked rocks . Good job Mia.

A few years ago, my youngest daughter visited this beautiful little town in Spain and this is a pen and wash of one of the pictures she gave me as a souvenir. I tried not to overload it with paint on the rocks so it wasn't like painting by numbers. I am rather pleased with the result, what do you think? All comments are very welcome :) Mia
