Absolutely beautiful, Mia! You have a real treasure trove. I really like the way you created the recession in the background and simplified the foreground to bring out the watermill and the tree. I am constantly envious of how much you convey through the use of black and white tones! Thank you too for your very kind comment on my work. No problem at all about not commenting on my recent paintings. I haven't been painting much anyway and like you, I am strugglng to keep up with the postings due to my current schedule.

Totally gorgeous , Mia. I'm like you, I cannot keep up with the postings, but glad I saw this.

Another stunning painting Mia, great composition and beautifully painted. Many thanks for your very nice comment on my painting. I have really enjoyed reading your blog. I am sure the exhibition will be a success

You really have mastered this pen thing, haven't you!! Super drawing, lovely composition and I really feel as if I am standing in front of this watermill as you have made it so real. Great work, Mia.

A pen and wash of a rebuild watermill in the Open Air Museum in Bokrijk. This is an earlier work to let you know that I am back home after babysitting for about 2 weeks - see my latest Blog "Surprise-party" or "Mia". All your comments are very welcome! As Alan Owen would say: Take care!
