Amaryllis

Very nice Max, great sense of depth , Good strong colour.

This is really lovely, I love the colours too. Beautiful flower you have painted it well.

This is a new departure for you, Max, and a very welcome one as well. You have done the markings on the amaryllis extremely well and the dark background compliments the lightness of the leaves and flower. Really nice the way you have left white paper, which adds such a sparkle to the painting. Like to see more flower paintings from you.

I agree with all of these Max, let's see some more flowers from you. We should have a flower painting bee. Let's see what we can do. Thank you for your extremely nice comment on the latest addition to my gallery, 'Autumnal Grace' I have to admit that I feel really proud of it.

Thank you again Maureen for your comment i do appreciate them......I have done other paintings of flowers which were done when i first started painting i don't think they are all that special but will put them on my gallery to get all of your comments which will definately help.

Thanks Max for your comments on my two paintings. I never saw this one of yours when posted. Things get pushed off the front page so quickly these days. This is smashing; you've really come on in your use of colour; getting a lot braver LOL. The flower is well painted and the background really sets it off.

Thank you for that lovely comment Diana.......this was my attempt at painting an amaryllis in a pot in front of me......you have to paint it quickly before the flowers wilt.....then you have something to remember it by.
