Lovely work again, Betty! How do you start the foils? Are they just blank and then you start to put your design on. How do you plan your composition - do you have to do a drawing first and then copy it when doing the foil? I have not come across this before seeing your work and am very interesting in knowing how you achieve your lovely results.

Thank you Thea for your kind comments yet again, most welcome. In answer to your question, some i buy with a design already on it & have to scrape it the way the lines form, they are in different directions so if you make a mistake the whole thing is ruined & in the bin it goes. I do my own design in some work using chalk as a basic outline, which can be erased after. you buy sheets of black surface, with gold silver & bronze underneath which enables you to create your design.............hope this explains things to you clearly.
