Lazy Sunday Afternoon

A bird a bird.......The movement in the sea is very nice and the rocks are great but I really cannot beleive that there was not one little dicky bird hanging around on that cliff??

Hi Max, This one escaped me on the gallery front page, so have only just found it. Difficult to tell from a scanned picture, but it looks as if you have left white paper, especially on the cliffs. If I am right, I think this was a good move as it does add a degree of sparkle. I like the way you have varied the same colour on the cliffs to define the shape. It is a nice peaceful painting of a delightful scene.

Thank you for these kind comments Thea.......i left the white on the cliff to give it more light not like the ones in dover.......but variation on a theme just the same......it is a very restful place to spend a sunday afternoon.

Lovely watercolour sketch Max. I really enjoy sitting out there too. We have spent a lot of time in Pembrokeshire and I've just found one of mine will put it in my gallery shortly. Keep an eye out for it.
