You are getting braver with your colours Max. I like the distant hill and the sand bar. The house appears a but out in perspective though as if it's leaning over the water. Maybe it's the photo that's slightly cock eyed.

Yes agree with Diana your paintings are getting more oomph !!

Lovely colours Max. I enjoy this reddy/yellow in the bottom left, gives a lovely warm feeling. House is a bit leany?

How nice to see one of your lovely paintings again on the gallery. I just love your colours, the simpleness of the scene -so effective and the whole warm feeling of the painting. I don't want to analysis bits of the painting because I am just enjoying the whole of it so much. Well done, Max!

Like the gradation on the building, it shows where the light source is comming from and it gives it age. Your negative painting of the windows is done well. Your clouds is convincing but keep in mind the light source it's from the top most of the time. Never mind the leaning building, just say you just came back from Venice.

Again no technical comments as with Thea another lovely painting I love the distant hill and the sandbar...hope it is a sandbar...you are branching out Max and using more colour...great

Thank you all for your comments......Yes Diana & Sylvia the house do look as if it is leaning......like the leaning tower of Pisa......one of the reasons why i was going to bin it..........thank you again Thea, Carole & Patsy for your kind comments........i love having all your continued support & advice...........Chito Thank you for your kind comments on my painting very instructive & pertinent.......You have all stopped me from binning it !!!!!!!

Hello Max, just doing the rounds of my fav gallery's, thanks for your comments on my work, and for being picked as the first of the 4 paintings to be chosen for image of the month of june, oh yes what a lovely surprise,...and shock...lol i agree with the comments above, your use of colour is getting bolder,...love the composistion too, well done max, look foward to seeing more of your seascapes. kind regards Rhian ( irene ) not able to paint at mo,....but hopefully will be back ,.... A-S-P..lol

I had a bit of a problem with this painting......it appears that the house will be flooded at the next high tide........i didn't want to paint the orange any further over to interfere with the boats.....hence the leaning house. So thank you Rhian for your kind comments.......look forward to seeing you back soon.
