Hi Max, maybe the bales should be a whisper of shadow rather than obvious bales. Also perhaps a bit less colour on the far hills to give a recessive feel. I think you have painted the cliffs well.

Hi Max, Gentle and harmonious early work. I think if you were doing this painting today, you might have made the little row of houses more prominent, using perhaps some of the reds and colours that now feature in your paintings? If this is an earlier work, then I can see a change in your style with your current paintings, which are bolder and with more confidence with colour. This is a very nice and interesting composition - lovely cliffs and interesting sea.

Thank you all for your comments, Yes i thought it was the bales at fault, i should have toned them down a bit & should have made the houses twice as big. Just bought a new book on perspective..... will be no stopping me now.....MAYBE.?

Hi Max this popped up on the right...I recognised you delicate but bright style...I agree with the above comment...perhaps the houses gould be a little more upright ? But then I'm an architectural freak.
