A Passing Storm

Dramatic division of weather in this painting. It is almost stereotyped in its execution. The touch of red again on the sail of the boat adds real excitment and the colours in the changing sea add drama. I like the way you see the world, Max.

The wife & i got wet while i was sketching this one ( what we do for art). The seagull was really protesting but not half as much as we were! I tried to make the colours dramatic in this painting. I try to see beyond what there is. Thanks again Thea for your kind comments. Max
