This is beautiful Marjorie, love the sky.

Ah lovely! Such delicate colours Marjorie. Makes me want to be there.

Love, lots of atmosphere, Marjorie

A superb piece Marjorie and beautifully painted.

Nicely done indeed

Love the way you have dealt with the light in this painting!

What an idyllic place, and, of course, beautifully painted.

Super Marjorie, really like the capturing of light and us dog owners would recognise the moment very well

Thanks everyone. First of all, he doesn’t fetch! Three balls have to be taken and much cunning involved because he’ll carry two balls in his mouth. Secondly, I’ve just been on a course with Jenny Aitken - excellent! And I’m hoping it improves my own painting while retaining my own take on things.

Beautifully balanced painting Marjorie. Love the palette.

Such a gentle, subtle palette, filled with wonder and light. The solitary figure emphasises the space and freedom within the painting. The shimmer on the front of the water adds sparkle and charm to the whole.

Super painting and lucky you attending a course with Jenny Aitkin

Thanks Denise, Russell, Carole and Christine……Christine, I had to book it more than a year ago!

Beautiful sky and beautiful light Marjorie

Superb, Marjorie - wonderful light-filled sky and expansive view (towards Coquet Island I'm guessing).

This is lovely, the whole thing works beautifully !

Thank you Romila and Valerie - Anne, you’re right! We go often on Warkworth beach.

Absolutely gorgeous

Lovely and light Marjorie, the sand looks soft too...nice scene and restful to view.

It’s lovely, Marjorie. It captures so well the feeling of an early morning dog walk in the beach. I didn’t know Jenny Aitken. She’s so good.

Lovely light Marjorie. Sounds like a clever dog!

The light, especially on the dog, the atmosphere - stunning

Two of my favourite things

Beautiful painting especially the light reflected from the sky, and a great title.

My thanks to everyone don’t seem to have appeared - or perhaps I didn’t press “ add comment”. Forgetful? Me? Well, anyway, many thanks again 😄
