Well done Marjorie, a very good copy. I agree about copying favorite paintings, if nothing else it relieves you from thinking what shall I do next. It also makes you appreciate the artist more. ( In my life I've only copied about ten, not that many for my age...maybe time to do another.)

It’s a superb piece Marjorie, and beautifully done. Think I will do a monthly challenge, your version of a famous painting, thanks for the idea .

I suspect we all start off by copying well known works, but get sidetracked and rarely meet the high standard you have shown here.
