Love the colours in your sky and sea, and that touch of warm colour near the building.

Great scene Marjorie and what an excellent place to stay! A very atmospheric painting which definitely has your style.

Fabulous painting Marjorie, the sky especially, with that wonderful 'light' behind the bathing house is glorious.

Excellent painting Marjorie.

Beautifully atmospheric -stunning!

Yes, beautiful light in the sky, reflected on the cliff. A lovely painting altogether.

Beautifully painted Marjorie. Love your use of colour.

One of my favourite places Marjorie. This is a an absolute show stopper. Your use of colour is so subtly, breathtaking and the silver horizon is magical. Love this very much.

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments. It is a special place - Carole will know what I mean. You can see Dunstanburgh castle to the north and Coquet Island to the south. The weather has been beautiful this last week, so lucky to have been able to enjoy it.

It looks a wonderful place to be Marjorie. Beautifully painted.

Earlier this week I walked north along the coastal path and looked back towards the Victorian bathing house. It belongs to the Howick Estate ( home of Earl Grey ) and it was used by the family when they played by the sea. Now it can be rented for holidays - our art group rented it for a week many years ago and sketched and painted the rocks and the sea. We even discovered a dinosaur’s footprint down on the rocks.
