Oh, you naughty girl, Marjorie. But it is a great painting and very original! Well done!

Ahh, so that's where I've been going wrong. None of my art books mention it. Paint what you love comes to mind. Nice work.

Gives us all a bit of a lift - like the painting - it works.

Mia, Lewis,Maureen, think you share my point of view😆, has been taken downstairs now and sampled. It's cloudy today, sure that the sun is over the yardarm!

If the sun isn’t over the yard arm , then paint one over the yard arm Marjorie. A lovely painting, mine would have to be a dark rum and some ginger.

Paul, yours sounds great too.😄

Remember not to rinse your brush out in the wrong glass Marjorie! Love the blues and a very fine lemon, I’m quite partial to a painted lemon, but not in my gin.

You know, Fiona, I've stuck the brush in my tea but never in the gin. 🥴 Or perhaps I have.

After a good painting session I hope, as a reward ....

Ha ha, great painting Marjorie. But surely too clean and tidy to be your studio😮!

This is the kind of subject I warm to. Excellent.

Yes, Gudrun, we all need a reward .....sometimes when we haven't done anything.....Katy, my table is very tidy at the moment ( nothing else is ). I covered the table in a large piece of glass, from an old picture frame, and it's also my "large palette". I've just cleaned it after painting my large picture. Works well as a palette and a table.

Beautiful, I love the reflections a nice bubbly Prosecco if I had to make a choice. Mind you, you can't get that in a nice shade of aquamarine.

Thanks, Denise - prosecco is lovely too!

You are the painting Marjorie beautiful subdued tones to let the freedom colour play. You are so successful with it 😎

Dennis, thanks, you look so cool with those shades.

Nice one Marjorie! I’ve also dipped a brush in my cuppa, probably more than once. 🤭

I'm sure it improves our paintings, Tessa.😐

Beautifully painted Marjorie

Wonderful - my kind of companion and painting!

Thanks, Russell and Heather.. 😊

Enticing subject!

Now now Tessa, this IS a bit early!

great work, like to was you have painted the glass and bottle

Cheers Marjorie. Love your subtle palette and handling of light, reflections and shadows. I find a lot to learn from this Marjorie, so thank you for a free art lesson.

Many thanks, David and Carole - very kind of you Carole.
