I like this one better Marjorie. It has a real depth of colour which really adds to your painting. Lovely.

You little tinker , it certainly does look better for your tinkering Marjorie it’s a lovely portrait.

She looks more youthful and the portrait is so much stronger, it's very beautiful.

Yes, yesterday I finished and posted too soon!

Beautiful portrait

Excellent.

Very nice, Marjorie. Love the way you have done the hair and those shadows.

Really good Marjorie!

That gown really is made of satin.

That is a marvellous portrait.

A much more ‘positive’ portrait Marjorie. Her hand is gracefully resting…. I really like her expression as her eyes say so much.

Better still and those hands now work as part of the whole portrait and the improvements you've made on her face lift her whole expression whilst not losing that immense sadness.

Sorry if I missed some information but I’m sure this could be a young Georgia O Keefe Marjorie.

I liked the first post, and I can see an improvement. Well done Marjorie, when I tinker with my stuff things usually go downhill...this is excellent.

This is great Marjorie, I love the hands and well in fact, I love everything about it!

Thanks a lot everyone for the comments - yes, Carole, a young Georgia O’Keefe. I’ve taken down the previous version.

I missed this one Marjorie, super work as ever.

Sorry, I had to tinker a bit more, a better result.
