Lovely Marjorie. I like the sound of those canvas sheets. I shall investigate. I use Tela canvas paper which archival so it says.

Very nice Marjorie, lass. When I see paintings like this its an incentive to get my paints out again instead of drawing all the time. Keep up the good work. will look out for more postings.

Thank you, Jim, John, Mia, Gudrun and Stuart! You've no idea the flak I get when I paint family members! Ha ha. This isn't right, that isn't right. I was told to stick to Still Life's! Of course, I take no notice. After all, it's MY hobby. This one tho', I'm pleased with. I feel I've definitely "caught"her. Gudrun, I ordered a canvas pad ( think it was from Great Art) and it came with a free canvas board. If I ever frame anything, I'll have to stick it on to a rigid support, but that's all in the future.

Thanks all for those very kind remarks. When it's a family member you know the inner person so well, I wonder if it affects how you paint them. I'm sure it must. Yet in some ways it's more difficult.
