Really good, love the colours !!

Beautiful Marjorie, the light, the rocks, everything. The canvas looks as one of those that sucks all the oils, it could welcome some oiling when dry (if you don't mind the suggestion; I am picky with canvases and oils)

Thank you both. Interesting Federico…it’s on canvas board but I did prime it as opposed to using gesso. I’ll probably use temporary varnish on it when it’s touch dry and go from there.

It may be the photo, then, ignore my comment, Marjorie

Love it Marjorie.

Lovely textures and light in this Marjorie.

Superb work Marjorie it beautifully painted.

Such an interesting composition that leads one right into splendid light. I like the softening of the trees. Just a lovely painting.

You always catch the light Marjorie.

Thanks everyone!😁 John - it’s very slippery to keep hold of 😆

Love how you lead us along the path and into the sunlight Marjorie. An unusual, arresting composition with a strong narrative.

So beautiful, I love it!

At first this looks ordinary. But you then realise that the light at the end of the tunnel like is uplifting and meaningful in a very pleasant way as is the light coming through the trees spilling onto the side wall. Marvellous

The light textures and atmosphere all captured. Good one Marjorie.

Lovely composition - so beautiful, Marjorie!

A lovely secret passageway Marjorie. We had a cinder path.

Excellent work Marjorie!

Lovely light. You’ve captured the slightly claustrophobic atmosphere of the tight footpath so well with the promise of light through the archway

Beautiful composition 🥰

So inviting and so very good!
