I like the gloss of the very right pot. Very pleasing colours Marjorie.

Nicely painted still life Marjorie. I like the airiness in this and also the subtlety of the colours.

I like this very much Marjorie.

Thank you all, for the nice comments, at one point it was like playing with mud pies ( loved it) and then my palette fell face down on the floor, hitting the corner of a rug. Orange and Pthalo blue are very difficult to clean off🥴

Excellent painting Marjorie, a real shine on the jug and vase. I like the colours of the tiles in the background.

Lots for me to admire in this one Marjorie. The reflections on the jug and the vase and I love the shininess of the apple. The rug....oops!

Lovely colours, Marjorie . Sorry about your accident.

Lovely how a few simple objects can conjure up a delightful painting. I particularly love those pinks in the background. They seem to make your painting glow Marjorie.

Marjorie, you won’t believe this....I’ve done exactly the same thing! Well, I haven’t actually painted it yet, but I’ve set it up. You know what is really spooky, I’ve used the very same silver jug...lol. Now I’ve seen your very excellent still life, I might not bother! 😆 I need another challenge, so spent yesterday studying Cezanne, thought, I can do this, I’m starting to chicken out already and I haven’t picked a brush up yet. I love the way you painted the folds of the cloth and the reflections in the jug....marvellous.

Thanks Paul, Cristina, Diane, Linda, Carole and Fiona. I'm loving painting just now and want to keep it all flowing. Sometimes when I stop, I find it hard to get going again. Fiona, now that I look, I realise that the colours are very " Cezanne", especially the green/blue , together with the red of the apple. I'm looking forward to seeing yours!

Delicious colours and application Marjorie, it’s not easy to find new ideas to paint so a nice arrangement here.

Lovely, lots to like here a lot!

Wow, Marjorie. What a beautiful composition and I like the colours you used very much.

Great composition, Marjorie, love those softened edges on the little clay pot

Thanks for taking time to look and comment, Alan, Heather, Mia and Thalia.

Nice work Marjorie

Romila and Liam - thank you for commenting.

Had the urge to paint but couldn't think what so set this up today. Some palette knife, some brush. Light's gone and lamp has picked up the shine on the paint when I photo'd it. The pear needs a bit more thought.
