Good sense of atmosphere, but the foreground seems a bit wanting I feel Marjorie.

Is this from the path above the golf course? One of the walks with my dog when we visit Northumberland. She's getting on in years and can't walk far now. ( a bit like me :) ) Lovely painting.

Has English summer “ painted” all over it. Well caught atmosphere.

Thanks John,.....not sure, will think about that. Val, this is from Dunstan Steads, we were in our little caravan at Dunstan with our grandchildren, and you can walk through the woods, over the fields and there is a lovely view of the castle. Thanks Tony, this summer has been wonderful.

Such a sense of place Marjorie. When I was there I sat amongst the cows lovely herd, who were just munching and wandering and admiring the view from a cows point of view. I like it but maybe add a freshman or two to make John happy.

I've added a broken fence at the front - I always do as I'm told😊

Sorry Marjorie....should read Freisian ...........grrrrr spell check.....not freshman. Lol.

Such a serene scene . Lovely!

You had me baffled there Sylvia, I felt very ignorant, was sure it referred to something I didn't know about - relieved now! Margaret and Sarah - thanks.

Lovely work, Marjorie. I like the foreground also in this one.

Thank you Cesare, it is a lovely place.
