Photo not great, light catching the quick drying medium. It looks more matt in reality.

A really lovely painting Marjorie, I love the way you have painted the folds of the material with the light catching them. Very, very nice.

Beautifully painted Marjorie.

Wonderful still life, Marjorie, the vase is superb.

Love all your work Marjorie such dedication and analysis you are some gal

Love the texture Marjorie and that pot is wonderful!

Thank you all very much - Margaret, Jim, Cesare and Tony. Dennis - you made me feel like a rootin' tootin' cowgal!

Yes, this has impact Marjorie, also expertly painted and I do use small quantities of vermilion myself.

Like th contrasting orange and blue and the profilency of the way you have painted the folds.

This is so lovely, the vase beautifully executed and the folds of material very well done Marjorie.

Thanks Adele - it's my favourite pot! Alan, I bought vermilion when I was painting geraniums and nasturtiums, it certainly has a bite. And thankyou for the comments Carole K and Carole S!

A really eye-catching still life.

That is gorgeous - love the folds and the contrasting colours. - the jar is so perfect and orange and reflections lovely - all works so well, Marjorie

What a great painting, I can only agree with the other comments

My goodness Marjorie this is absolutely stunning. The jar is just wonderful, and the folds in the cloth.....well, all of it really.

Really beautifully and expertly painted still life, Marjorie!

Superb, Marjorie, wonderful drapery and the vase is just spot on.

Never mind the technological...technogical...techno...buggerit! ...blips...this ain't bad. Clarity of the three elements works well individually and as a whole. Good composition and I imagine that you enjoyed panting it. Do some more!

It is exceptionally good.

Absolutely wonderful Marjorie, the vase is incredibly well painted.

This is the first thing lately that I've enjoyed painting , without frustration. Someone asked me whether I'd used a light box - no, a tablecloth draped over a tall canvas with the afternoon sun hitting it. Many thanks, Sandra, Maureen, Anne, Fiona, Satu and willie. And the master of Still Life himself, Roger - where have your paintings been lately? Thanks also Peter, Tony and Russell.

What a fabulous oil painting Marjorie..that vase, wow!

Smashing piece Marjorie

That's brilliant Marjorie, lovely colours, it really stands out.
