This is my little quick tribute to the raising of the new Stanage Pole on the moor above Stanage Edge in the Peak District of Dearbishire, it stands alongside the Long Causeway and there has been a marker pole as long as anyone can remember. It atands on the boundry between two countys and may have been the marker between two ancient Kingdoms but no one knows when ot why the first one was erected.
