he is a lovely dog and well drawn. he really looks as if he is waiting for you to feed him well done.

He's lovely, Malcolm. Well done and his eyes are great.

Malcolm, don't knock your ability, this is very good indeed! Not your usual subject, so an extra challenge for you.

He is lovely Malcolm and I love the eyes too.

A beauty Malcolm beautiful description marks lovely

Many thanks Tao, Ellen, Fiona, Adele and Dennis much appreciated, but I cannot see me going down the animal road I like my mountains and wild country to much.

It's a success Malcolm! Nothing is easy and especially when it's not what you'd usually choose to do. It's a lovely drawing - are you giving it to the owner?

Thank you Marjorie, I am not sure what I am doing with it as the person concerned actually would like a different one done on canvas in Acrylics and I am not sure I want to go down the animal painting road, we shall see.

He looks great Malcolm, you are spot on with the shape of his head and his eyes are really good. I've tried a few times to paint my own dog with poor results so far, I wish I could have done as good as you have here!

Thanks for that Margaret much appreciated, I will admit my first attempt at my own dog some years ago was a complete disaster I even apologised to him it was that bad :))), I suppose with doing my mountains, stone walls etc I have just refined my skills a little.
